Housing prices are at a record high in six of Korea's 17 metropolitan municipalities including Seoul and Busan, according to data from Woori Bank's asset management consulting center published Monday.
Homeowners who bought recently on the hope of a gain and driven in many cases by a fear of missing out are finding their bets going bad as interest rates rise and prices start to fall.
